Even if you’ve never carved wood before you’ll be able to produce a beautiful and useful object on this guided workshop.

We’ll take fresh wood and split it to the correct dimensions then start whittling away a Swedish style butter paddle.

I’ll supply carving knives and teach you safe techniques and grips for using them effectively. 

You’ll leave with your very own wooden butter knife, and a passion to spend more time doing relaxing wood carving!

I recommend a minimum age 16 due to knife use - under 18s must have an adult present with them who can attend free of charge if they don't want to take part.

Please bring a drink and snack if needed.
